Data source

The data source for this website is a set of regional climate scenarios available for the Wadden Sea region simulated by numerical regional climate models.

Thus 123 climate simulations from differenct research projects were analysed. On this website we always describe a certain model chain like this: "greenhouse gas scenario - global model - regional model".

There is a drop down menu above every map which lets the user choose a certain climate simulation. Beneath every map additional information about the selected simulation are found.

It is possible that not all of the listed simulations are selectable. This is the case when either the data source at the projects' data server were incomplete or erroneous.
