Thermal growing season length

Within a period of 12 months, the thermal growing season length is defined as the number of days between:

  • first occurrence of at least 6 consecutive days with a mean temperature > 5 °C
  • first occurrence of at least 6 consecutive days with a mean temperature < 5 °C within the last 6 months

 

Tropical nights
  • Number of days with a minimum temperature over 20 °C (Tmin > 20 °C)
